Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

It is 1969. My two cousins are on the left, I am the excited thirteen-year-old on the right. That's my target.

One of the few times I got to be with my mom's dad.

College archery.

The doe fawn who gave herself to me.

Hunting on Columbus Day weekend, with Barb's knife, loaned to me by my adopted brother whom I have never met, Kenny, who is hunting right now.

My favorite maple in camp, which I cherish as I watch its decline.

This makes me regret that I have shunned cameras most of my life. I absolutely hate having my picture taken. I always have. I have a good memory; but it's easier to share a picture.

I'll have to resend my pics....they were there when I first put the thread up....Cool pics from everyone...There's gotta be more old hunters out there with younger photos of themselves and their game....

Hey Joe,
Nice picture of Roger & Serg.  I got to meet Serg one time when Don Assenheimer and I were staying at, I think, the Pine Ridge Motel, outside of Timmens.  We were on one of our annual bear hunts with Larry Corville.  As usual the black flies were awful but the hunting was good.  Don & I both took several bears with Larry.
