Below are pics of a new to me Tall Tines recurve I'll be receiving later this week. It's 62", 49#@28" and is constructed out of Bocote and Cocobolo..

I'll take and post more pics after I receive the bow.

Thanks all for your comments and inputs!  I'm looking forward to receiving it.  It's a bit heavier in draw weight than my Morrison Cheyenne, 49#@28" vs 45#@28".  But, as I recall my first TT felt about 2 or 3# lighter in draw weight than it actually drew.  I'm sure it will fling my Maxima Red 350s like darts just as the Cheyenne does.

I picked up the TT at The Archery Shop today.  I assembled it and shot it quite a bit.  It really likes the Carbon Express Maxima Red 350 arrows with 200 gr up front that I've been shooting out of my Morrison Cheyenne.  Now to decude which bow will be number 1 and which will be the backup!  Decisions, decisions!     :)      :biglaugh:      :jumper:

As with my previous TT, the grip is to die for and the bow is very well built.  It's hard to go wrong with either a Morrison or a TT.

It shoots NICE is a bit of an understatement.  As Tony Tiger would say "It shoots GREEAAATT!!!"

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Congrats Bill!! I already know the feeling here!! I have had my TT for a year now and thinking about ordering yet another one?? LOL.

I moved the nock point up on the string and now the arrows are slapping each other when I aim at the same point on the target.  I think it's time to go back to one arrow groups!  The Carbon Express Maxima Red arrows are too expensive to do that too often!

The way Brian rounds the grip on the back side of the riser turns a great grip into a phenomenal grip!  The repeatability of my grip on the riser from shot to shot is marvelous.

I went back to The Archery Shop to shoot my TT some more today.  I took the string off my 62" Morrison Cheyenne and installed it on my 62" TT.  The bow is very quiet and very quick with this string.  I'll be glad when it cools down and we get a few hard frosts so I can go hunting!

I went back to The Archery Shop to shoot my TT today for the first time in two weeks.  My wife and I met two friends in Pigeon Forge, TN last week for the National Quartet Convention.  We heard some great singing!

I ordered two new BCY-X strings from Oliverstacy to fit my TT before we left for Pigeon Forge.  The new strings had arrived in the mail when we got back home on Sunday. The TT with the new BCY-X string shot my Maxima Red 350 arrows with 200 gr up front 4 fps faster, 189 fps, than it did with the D10 string that came with the bow.  From now on I'll be shooting one shot groups with the bow as the arrows were grouping entirely too close to each other and I don't like the sound of carbon slapping carbon!

"carbon slapping carbon".... poor you! I like the idea of one shot groups as thats the only way I can have tight groups. Glad to hear you're loving the new set-up and I'm not the only one with a TT addiction. Enjoy!
