Just bought my dream bow
Black widow long bow ironwood
55@28

Got it with a quiver and a few Easton bloodlines for 400 bucks

I'm pretty pumped

Only thing is I'm gonna be a little bit over bowed with it but whatever I'll just have to work up to it

Soo excited

Wannabe1

Congrats but, becareful and do make sure you work up to it. Nothing worse than ruining your shoulder by being overbowed and having to set out the season.

You will not regret it they are very nice and great shooting bows if it is too much weight send it back and have it reduced enjoy your new wider.    Widow

Big Ed

If you think it may be on the heavy side don't shoot it to much. Work your way into it. Enjoy it they are awesome bows!!

I'm pretty new to the show but recommend practicing with what you can handle and try to get a dozen GOOD QUALITY shots with the heavier bow.  Take a minute in between each shot and totally concentrate on draw, aim, release.

i just got my first "new to me" Widow a month ago.  Smooth operators.

If you work steadily and prudently, you will not have problems building up to this bow. Just don't rush it and hurt yourself. Once you can handle it comfortably, you may find you like heavier bows - they help smooth out my sometimes poor release.

If you are not comfortable with it this year, set your sights on next season. Enjoy your new bow.

Just received my new BW PLX longbow a few weeks ago. One of the best bows I have ever shot. You will like it a lot.
