Princeton Tec "FUEL" really lights up the night! I also had one out by Browning that you could coon hunt with when on bright but it didn't have a good headband but would go on a had brim but I rarely hunt with a hard brim hat. Just make sure you get one that runs on AAA and not watch batteries! Princeton Tec has several models, I also have the "Remix", it has a spotlight mode but I wasn't super impressed with it but it is slightly better at distance than the " Fuel " , some of their models come in the two varieties regular batteries and watch batteries so make sure if what your buying.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Black Diamond.  Not sure of the model, but it puts out 100 lumens.  I have been very happy with it!

Energizer from Home Depot.  $15.  100 lumens.

Black Diamond Spot.  Light, 3 AAAs, Red light feature, flood and spot light options that can be dimmed.  I have had the Petzl Tikka but didn't seem very bright and very little features though light in weight.  Also have a fenix that is like a spotlight with rear battery pack, but I use it duckin.  Way to heavy for the mountains.  Energizer puts out a good cheap one as well that I think did well with reviews.  I have one of those as well and it is backup #2 in the truck.

I haven't found one yet that I really like... yet. It looks like that is the next trend in lights and they are putting out better and brighter ones. I bought my dad one of the Energizer ones and he likes it. Bushnell also put out a couple I would like to try.

I got an ATOM head light
When I replaced the batteries I got the wrong size (thicker disc battery)
It is twice as bright as it was
Like a mini spot light

I also like the big box ones with the white and red LED's

I've owned 4 Petzls and they all left me a bit disappointed.

I've owned 3 Princeton Tec headlamps and each one impresses me. My two favorites are the PT EOS and the REMIX. I used the REMIX on a recent Hawaiian hunt. I ran it every morning on the pre-dawn hike into the hills...ten days straight...same batteries. Those are the same batteries which powered it for 12 days in Alaska last September. Just a phenomenal bright usable light with great ergonomics and simplicity.
