Surf And Turf Weekend (Bowfishing and Small Game)

This past weekend was a good time. Saturday I headed out to a buddy's farm to see if I could connect on a squirrel or two. While the squirrels weren't having it, I was able to find a bunny. My first shot at him was a miss at around 20 yards. When I caught up to where he ran to, I spotted him through a window of tree limbs and focusing on his eye, I was able to hit him in the back of the head at 12 to 15 yards.
Finally, my first cottontail!    

Sunday my buddy Paul and I went to one of his favorite rivers in the hills for some bowfishing.  We shot a fair number of carp and gar, but I didn't get any fish photos as my phone was in the dry box most of the day.
