Hey guys. Do think its safe to use a sbd string on my miller split bamboo . Just put one on for another bow and took a few shots . And like it quieter faster  and seams to Handel  better
Thanks

Pierre does a great job of padding the loops with B50 and I don't worry about putting his strings on anything. My opinion FWIW.

I think it is too risky in regards to a dryfire.  A split bamboo has a hard enough time just staying together as it is.

I shoot a low stretch string on my selfbows. But I think on a split bamboo I think I would go with a B50 or B55 to be safe. And I would ask the bowyer too.May be at your own risk if it will cause possible damage?

Dan....wow....did you try one on your Tim Williams bow..??
