Turkeys have frustrated me this spring, so I am hoping for a better bear hunt. I leave in a couple of days for Idaho for a chance at a color phase bear, and if I should win the lottery, a shot at a wolf. Who else is headed out for bears this spring?

My Son and I are headed to Manitoba on the 30th. Our first
Hunt together in 10 years, the Bear hunt will be great but the best will be spending time with my son. Years pass too fast,
Will be a very special hunt.
Good luck to all the Bear hunters this spring.

I leave for Bear Camp tomorrow morning. The boys in camp have everything ready to go, 16 baits all baited and lots of bear action. I might even sneak out late this week to hunt my own bait...fingers crossed..

Everyone venturing out please be safe!!

Bowwild

I'll be hunting in New Brunswick in early June with my brother, best friend, and his grown son. It will be my first bear hunt since 1985 and the first with a curve.

Yep, Quebec June 10th with Jerry Russell in the Mastigouche Wilderness Reserve.
I'm so exited I'm dribbling!

My closest bait is 2 miles from my house and have my buddies 14 year boy on it.So far bear only shows up when he's not there. We rarely have a black, black bear on a bait.Mostly color phase.
