You'll have no problem with arrow flight and any currently available 3 blade fixed blade/coc.  Manufacturing has reached near perfection as far as precision is concerned.

The main issue in getting good broadhead flight these days is how well your shaft selection tunes.
Even with marginally tuned shafts use of ample fletching will make up for the tuning issues.

I'll back Charlie 100% on that one....if you can't get any BH to fly good...it's a shaft probably a shaft spine issue.

That said...if you're going with 3 blades, then go Vantage Point Archery!!  The tried and true VPA 3 blades are second to none!

You might take a look at the new Grizzly 3 blade. I'm with Charlie and Curt, with the right spined arrow, broadheads will fly like your field points.

Only thing to add is when you are using a glue on head. It is essential that you mount the broadhead on the adaptor straight.  I use the long broadhead adaptor as they seem to make it easier to get the head on true.  A poorly mounted head will not fly well out of any bow no matter how hard you try to tune it.  If it wobbles when you spin test it, remount it.

The Dixen broadhead alignment tool really works good on broadheads on wood shafts for alignment.

Some of the broadheads are made from compressed powdered metal and don't seem to take an edge as well as others.  Check out the 3Rivers catalog for adapters that will fit various carbon shafts and still allow the use of a heavier glue-on head such as the Snuffer 150

Charlie,Curt and Bob nailed it. I like the 300 xtreme, but they do not make them anymore, the new grizz 3 blade looks like it will be the ticket, just wish they were screw in, But an adaptor will take care of that.

I will have to vote for Woodsman Elite myself. I love them!!!   Widow

The new Grizz three blade is the ticket Danny. Just put four on arrows today. They fly great and sharpen up with very little effort.

Have experienced no issues regarding the following designs provided that the arrow was properly tuned: Woodsman's, Snuffers, Big 3"s and VPA Terminators.

Don't expect any issues with any other quality made and quality controlled three blades.

VPA's, love the solid head no vents, probably both fly equally well but solid VPA's are quieter to my ears.

I've also had really great luck out of MA3 heads. I bought a pile before the recent price increase.

The Woodsman has a long shape to it and although I know it aids in penetration, I prefer something a bit shorter, for no other reason than it is what I am used to seeing.
Fortunately, deer season is a long way off so I have time to decide on a broadhead.
Right now I am torn between the Zwickey or VPA two blade or a three blade VPA or Snuffer.

Can someone explain what the compressed powdered metal is, what heads are made like this?  I have never heard of such a thing.

I shoot Woodsmans mostly and like them BECAUSE of their long lean profile - funny how everyone has a different vibe on what will work for them.

MIM, metal injected molding. I hear montecs are built that way

Some pistol parts are made of it also to keep costs down.  I don't mind it in a pistol part, but no way I want it in a broadhead.
