Is this recurve static or dynamic?

That sure appears to be a full working recurve in those pictures...what made you think the tips might be static?

Now why do all you guys say that it's a dynamic recurve?.... I'm really curious.....

Look at the shape of the curl at brace...and again at full draw. If the curl doesn't open up at all, it would be considered a static tip..... go back and look at the link Snag posted.  that is a perfect example. look at how the limb curl opens up.... Kirk

Kirk might be right on this one! I think most of us are mislead by the fact that this bow has no steep hooks. Nevertheless, the curves doesn't seem to open at full draw or change shape meaning that it would be a Static. But is hard to judge from this one pic.
I think I am with Kirk on this one.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

I did not say that it was either...kind of hard to tell from the picture angles just what is going on...and why I asked for more information

I asked the question because I'm not sure, it seems like a semi-static if I may so that express myself

Looking at the other photos I still say dynamic....

With a semi static RC, the curl either opens up a bit at the beginning of the draw, or opens a bit at the tail end. I do not see that curl opening at all. If it is, it's not much. If not a true static, you definitely have a semi static tip there.

What is your draw length bro?

bowfanatik

my draw length is on some 29" 1/4

if is semi-static is that bad for bow or....?

Not at all... Static is good. it helps your string angle for one, and it stores energy in a shorter working area of the limb where you can harvest it.

From the looks of the string angle, you certainly wouldn't want to draw it much more than you are now. i'll bet you are really close to the stacking point now.

Once that string hits 90 degrees coming off your hand it puts a huge amount of pressure on the fades, and your PPI will jump up drastically. Besides finger pinch issues, Shooting a bow that is stacking up hard is very hard to shoot well...

That bow of yours has a nice looking bend to the limbs. I could be wrong bro... it may very well draw to 31.... looks good in your hands anyway.
