I have a good friend looking for a longbow, d shaped reflex/ deflex with locator grip. I really don't know a lot about this style bow. anywhere up to the $1000.00 dollar range is good, also he want's a one piece, please give me some bowyers and feed back. I know he will have to find the one that suits him, but we need a place to start, he is not new to trad or longbows, just been a while since he has shot longbows, he has a brand new BW recurve. his last longbow was a Bighorn. thank's

Check out JD Berry at  http://www.jdberryarchery.com/index.html

VERY nice mild R/D bows that are "D" shaped at brace and full draw.

Are you willing to give up what you are; to become what you could be?

Bigfoot Flatliner, Kirk will put any grip you like then balance limbs for that style and 2 different riser styles to choose. Looking at the bow he has he likes performance, with Kirk's Flatliner he will be pleased and its NFAA legal. Kirk is wonderful to work with and is great on grips.

I have a JD Berry and a Flatliner on order if that tells you something.

Mike Mecredy is pretty flexible on what he will build

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I picked up a used Border Griffon GL on the classifieds and it is a real sweetheart. No fiberglass, but two carbon layers with wood veneers over them. A bit pricey if you're buying new, but very fast, quiet and smooth.
