Smoked a whole deer on the grill

Not what your thinking it was a Sika deer from Maryland.  It dressed about 30 pounds so more like a giant rabbit.  A friend smoked it for me for 6 hours and was it good.

Just low heat, he didn't add anything but smoke.  It was very moist and I think you can see it in the pic.

I had no idea those were that small. Perfect size. Throw it over the shoulder and walk out. Looks tasty, did you brine it before smoking it? I was thinking about smoking a whole ham from a whitetail.
