I had a mate come to my place for a hunt. There had been a big boar I wanted him to have a go at.
So 7 pm saw us sitting tucked up in the Lee of a hill watching a bush edge 70 meters away. Some sheep fed on the hill above and behind us. Soon a sow, heavily pregnant, showed up. As we watched, out of the bush came 10 beautiful fat eating size pigs.
We watched as they grazed past us at twenty paces.
I whispered tat we would wait until close to dark in case a cunning old boar would show.
Soon one did, hanging close to the trees. Not huge, but acceptable. We watched waiting for a chance. The sheep we could hear right behind us. Then loud thumping, running hooves. We turned and were surprised to see a red hind run past about 20 meters away. That's the first I've ever seen on my farm. Her noise though scared all the pigs.
We cursed a bit, then decided with the last light to move closer to The tree line. I looked ahead and caught sight of a real boar, 150 lb or so dressed, head our way. I got my mates attention. We crouched just in time. He approached then spotted our shape and paused before turning to one side. My mate drew, but his clothes made a small noise and the boar was away. We snuck down the hill and soon saw two of the original pigs still out feeding. We crept down and Daniel left me to sneak in behind a fallen tree. His pig played nice and walked forward then turned and his shot cut square through its heart. It ran 20 meters and fell. I came forward and saw the other pig moving away from his dead mate but in my direction. As it moved through a hollow out of my sight I drew and as it came up about ten paces from me, released on a quartering forward shot. The arrow also took his heart from his lungs. It ran a similar distance and fell near its friend. Wow! We looked at each other and shook hands. It just dosnt get much better than that.

These guys were only young, 50 lb or so, just good eating.
Bow is a Toelke Whip. 57@28 I'm shooting gt hunters with weight tubes, 600 gr all up.

Heres  a pic of my pig, I won't put up one of the other, as it wasn't a trad bow.
