I just wanted to say I am feeling VERY focused an on my game I am not bragging Iam just havin a good time.opening day I shot a nice little 7 pointer.today I connected on a nice little spike sika stag an packed up all my gear headed home to take a real nice doe 90-100 lbs all of my shots have been on the money an I have been letting the animals make the mistakes instead of me. the sika stage was infront of me for 20min there was a time he turned his head to look around on many occasions but the shot opening was just not there so I waited I felt calm an pacient it has been a great year so far.I have been shooting trad for 6-8 years an dealing with animals that are just about in your lap is a blast.some of my buddies bust on me for shooting the size deer that I do but I am not picky I shoot what comes into my comfort zone.this is the best sport in the world.I have missed some big bucks an I have killed some big bucks.there is nothing like the pain of defeat for a teacher. If you are a good student you wont make the same mistake twice.sorry I don't know how to post pics but Iam gonna learn ....plumber

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Tim,
All I know is I wouldn't ever want to run into the sour faced fella standing by the tall man and that little runt on the end looks like he could put a hurtin on ya!

This was a few years back, but I can say that ole Plumber and family have FUN but do take their SHOOTING seriously, just don't take themselves too seriously!

This was at Standing Stone shoot.  Maybe 2 yrs ago!

I love these guys... Plumber on the "duck n run" while his eldest climbs a tree out of fear of the foam bear!

Congrats on some good shooting, and some fine victuals for the family freezer! Sika is some of the best eating I've had!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
