Good News Kenny!  I have never had a chiggar bite and do not wish to start.

This is the tree I chose for my last evening sit, it is a huge Osage that I found off an old logging road. The first afternoon I walked into this spot I noticed that scrape and hung a stand nearby in a oak and got caught moving at the wrong time by 2 bucks. So I took the stand down and moved to this Osage but they never showed up this time, that's how it goes when your hunting these critters. Had a great time here in MO and the deer densities are really good. We saw more bucks in this weeks time than I see in a whole year back home.

Overcast and drizzly tonite, so I didn't hunt. I hunt my bro's place til all the guys get done here  on lease anyway. Except might sit it in during gun with my bow while bro has family gun hunting.

So I drove around the gravel roads by the lease, saw 25, 6 were def bucks , 1 was a really good 10 crossing onto the N lease from the west. Guessin 145+, good deer for N MO!   :D

Just going through some of my pictures and zoomed in on this young buck that I thought only had a half rack. You can see his club hanging down on the left side. Pretty neat as I was giving Kenny a hard time for rubbing off on me with his small buck attractant. I only saw a half rack and let him keep on walking, two days later brother Andy got to shoot this buck. Probably hard to see in the picture but if you can zoom in you can see the dried black velvet.

Tomorrow morning should be excellent for hunting in Missouri. Everything lining up. Rain stopping right at sunrise. Full moon tonight w cloud cover. A front moving through pushing it down to 38 degrees. I will be out there bright and early.

Great News Kenny,  I am starting to get excited.  I will be taking Friday off work for Travel Plans.  It will be a great Day!
