Mike,

Great story and some great tips to pickup and gleam from it

And a fine buck also!
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

Very good story, and a happy ending. Way to stick with it.

Congrats on a tough recovery that you didn't give up.  We all have heard too many, "looked but couldn't find him" stories, with all sorts of weapons where that level of persistence was not present!

Tip of the hat to you all for keeping at it and making the recovery!

Hope with that heat the meat was ok!

Congratulations on finding your buck!  We know the hopeless feeling one gets when finding an arrow that's not bright red.  Way to stick with it!

One of Charlie and Terry's fave stands. The patches out in the milo are brushpiles. Great for ground hunters!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

This will be one where the recovery is a big part of the whole deal...or "ordeal" as it were.

We all know what it means when we can SEE them still running at 200 yards.

A job well done!  :campfire:

Well our week in this little part of heaven on earth is coming to a close. What a great place and Kenny is awesome. Getting ready to go pick up Steve from his last hunt. He had a close encounter last night on the ground with the "four amigos" and I'm anxious to see how he's done. We'll keep you posted.
