Today I received my new broadheads and raw shafts to be crafted for the upcoming season, and even though it dont seem like much, sometimes its the little things that can trigger ones anticipation more than ever for an upcoming season.
What has triggered your anticipation for this upcoming season ?   :campfire:

I bet this cold front will have me smelling the air in the morning looking for that first hint of Fall.

My buddy sent me a video of him sticking a hog.  He'll be in SC tomorrow trying to arrow a velvet buck on Thursday.

New arrow shafts from snag doesn't help either.

Going set up a 3-d course at my buddies Friday.  Yea I'm chomping at the bit to kill something!!!

Rob, you aint wrong about this cold front, if that dont light a fire for our upcoming season, nothing will! while mowing and working around the house this evening, I found my mind drifting off to October.   :biglaugh:

Shooting at the Muzzy shoot last weekend did it for me.....I'm ready to go!!

It is gonna be below 45 degrees here tomorrow night, that gets me thinking!! Also me and my bud Meat will start clearing stands sunday morning. We have 63 stands to do so that will get us going! Shawn

My woods are going to be full of acorns, I have a new perfect for me Hill Cheetah and tapered cedar arrows to match, and I'm expecting my trail camera to take a pic of a nice buck I suspect has made my hunting turf part of his domain. Two new hunting areas to scout and Deer numbers are up from last year from what Iv' seen. Seven good locations for stands , plus two new natural ground blinds seasoned and ready to hunt. What's that Carol King song ?     :jumper:

It never ends with me. I have been on the phone with my papa and jjwaldman over the past few weeks discussing our setups and all the work being done on our old stands and some new ones we have yet to try out. I'm 3000 miles away from home and I can still smell the fall air. I can remember the feeling of it on my skin when a cold front is approaching. All my gear is tuned and my form is good now it's just the anticipation of the upcoming season. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

Exactly Rob, I walked out of the house this morning and peed on the inside of my knees.

I need some cool weather in Florida.  Our low's are 75 to 80 and our highs are mid 90's.  The humidity is about 60 %.  when you are outside it feels like you are wearing  a wet blanket .  I am looking for some cool weather but October cannot come to soon.

A front moved through today, deer were out everywhere.  A lot with spots but I was daydreaming of being in the woods.
