Like all of us - from time to time - I have sold a couple of bows over the years that I have seriously lamented doing so.  One was my Fox longbow and the other was my Predator Hunter recurve.  I was sick of living in regret so rang the distributor in Canberra today (Australia).

He did not have the Hunter or the Custom in my weight range.  I was disappointed and was about to go when he said he had the new 'Impact'.  I asked to see a picture but he said it is so new it is not even on the huntersniche webpage.  All he could do was explain the details to me.

In faith I went ahead and ordered it without even seeing a picture - am I nuts or what?  He said it looks similiar to the Hunter, but a more defined riser.  Lower brace height so should be even faster.

Oh man - can't wait for the postage to arrive.  Can anybody fill me in on this baby?   A photo would be nice - what it looks like.  How does it compare in speed and stability to the normal Hunter.  If it is anything like my original Hunter (the one I sold), then it will be a keeper.

It is 62inch, R/H, 44# @ 28.

Cheers

One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action .... is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honor or observation

Hi Sutto,

I recall seeing something like that before. If I'm not wrong, this should be the link.

I hope I got this right! Pardon me if I'm not!
Cheers mate!

Big difference from the other risers. Kind of reminds me of the old Bighorn risers.
