I can't wait to meet up with you folks again and get another chance to hunt pigs down there!

I got my HHA Crocodile last Thursday and put an arrow in a pig on Saturday with it. 68" 73@28 if anyone wants to shoot it. I intend to bring it, my Echo, and maybe a NM if its done in time.

Is it time to go yet???

I've been talking to some of the guys that went to last years Hill Gang Hog Hunt, several of them are planning to hunt more then the planned 3 days. It doesn't cost much more for an annual hunting license.

Darren, if time permits im definitely gonna try to stay a couple extra days, every extra hr hunting just ups your chances at bringing home the bacon.
With better weather, theres definitely gonna be some picking and grinning round the fire this yr, so be prepared, as Ive got some great new material! Its amazing what kind of songs and lyrics some half crocked bluegrass pickers can come up with! and weve been busy!   :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Bob I may want to ride down with you or we can at least meet up somewhere down the road. I will be in a camper this year. Last year broke me from tent camping for sure. How many days are you looking at staying? Oh I need to get up with you maybe before the STAR shoot if that's cool. I haven't asked Bud yet but I'm sure he may want to carpool too.

Gonna stay longer this year too. Not sure how the carpooling will work but as it gets closer I'll know more. Already put in and am approved for vacation.

I'm planning to be there.  I've already put in for the time off.

I'm planning to bring a popup camper.  So far, its just me in it if anyone's looking for a bed.  It ain't fancy, but, it'll do.

Thanks for the TTT.  Darren had called me about this, but I never looked for the thread.  Last time was awesome, and since my WMA license is still good, might as well try to kill something with it.

Put me down, although I still have to get the boss's permission, and archery is on her nerves at the moment....

Looking forward to it myself! Got me a fresh supply of burlap bags that im gonna transform into a hog target. Once stitched and stuffed im gonna shoot the dickens out of it in prep. for the hunt.
Think ill fashion about a 300 pounder, i like to set my goals high.   :biglaugh:

I'm really trying to make this hunt guys.  I figure even if we don't kill, we'll still eat some good food and share some laughs.  That alone will be worth the price of admission.

Moleman, I like 300#ers, they are not nearly as easy to miss as the little ones scurrying all around.  :biglaugh:
