After 5 successful turkey shots and kills I finally lost my first bird this past week. Hit him high in the drum sticks which knocked him off his feet and over the hill. Next thing I knew he was in the air gliding away never to be found. I've had guys say I should have been using a String Tracker. Anyone have any experience with them. Will they work on a bird that goes airborn?

Yes they will. Depending on the model and weight string you should have a minimum of 1250 feet of string to follow. Over 2000 on the 17 lb wt.

Here is my setup

My tracker came with the mounting bracket so this is how II mount it with a slip on quiver

Hockey tape over it

Color of bow before blackened with hockey tape.

Setup ready for Wednesday

Pretty cool setup.  How is the bracket attached to the quiver?

The part that would screw on to the bow. "Sacrilege " is stuck between the rubber cover and foam the the broadheads set in. It a nice tight fit
