i picked up some acme shafts from ron la clair at the kalamazoo show.when he posted  that he was going to have some old acmes for sale i couldnt get to his booth fast enough. i bought two dozen, here are six i just did up.hunting arrows.

You did a great job.

 I did the same thing as you when I saw Ron had the notice of the shafts posted here on Tradgang, except I sent mine to Snag (David Lawson @ Wilderness Custom Arrows) for a total 'spa' treatment.  He tail tapered, nock and point tapered and then crowned/crested and sealed.  I did have a slight hand in making them in that I ordered barred feathers from Magnus and fletched them myself   :rolleyes:  

Now I think I'm afraid to shoot them!   :readit:    

 

Oh, and by the way, I had to pick out the stain, cresting and crown colors too!  :laughing:
