I'm from Rochester, south of you less than an hour.  Check out Bill's UBI link.  There will be lots of BOWhunters from your area there.  Hunts are pretty easy to hook up with.

I used to hunt Sand Ridge, which should be down your way, and west of Peoria maybe a dozen miles or so is a state park that at least used to allow bowhunting.  I had a lot of luck there.

yea sand ridge is my stomping grounds bow hunted and coon hunted it for over 20 year its a neat place only desert in illinois lol
