Cool.  Back when I did 'curves I had a vintage SG for a while.  Nice handling fast bow.

Good for you Bud that's one sweet bow. Wish I could've shot it a few more times. It's in good hands now.

Glad you like it Bud!  I will miss her but she is in good hands and with her big sister!

Those Grayling super Grizzlys are VERY smooth drawing bows

Nice gesture Colin.  You might be an enabler....but Bud's an appreciater!  Lol.

Colin - guess the LH thing is working out well enough for you that you're moving up in draw weight?

Colin also slipped in three magnus crafted wood arrows as a bonus. Thank you Sir!! And nice arrows Matt  :)

The first bow I bought with my own money was a Super Grizzly. It was a while ago. The ARE great shooting bows.

Bud, you're becoming a recurve man.

Nope...an honest bowman, yes. There are too many good bows out there to limit one's self. I find it easy to buy one here and there, but virtually impossible to get rid of one.

Hope you are well Dwight. I hate we couldn't get together this past fall. I'm working on that hunting spot. Let me know well in advance when you're coming back and we'll hunt it.

Hey Rob!  I am able to draw much more left than I could right handed when I finally gave up on the shoulder.  Going left has been the best thing for me.

I have just decided to shrink the collection a bit though.  This one was tough, but I have a heavier 1972 Grizzly I am keeping so this one went.  The SG is noticeably smoother I think, but the '72 hits hard and is my birth year.  It's marked "45x" but scaled at 53# at 28"....

Glad you like the arrows.  They are poplar.  Put one through a bird or deer for me!!!

One of these days I will try a Hill Style or something and I will be back at bow buying again. LOL

Glad the LH switch worked out well for ya!  How are you and the new Hill Country getting along?  Hope the family's doing well.

That was all Colin. He had me make up some arrows for it awhile back. There were more of them though    :bigsmyl:

Maybe we should just leave this one alone, huh?

Rob,
The Hill Country is partly to blame for me letting go of some of these old bows.  It is a fabulous shooter, and with the two sets of limbs I really don't need much else.

I was worried about the short length but it is AWESOME to hunt with and it shoots well.

If it's the Hill Country Cree you CAN'T go wrong. If it another Hill country bow you STILL can't go wrong. Fantastic quality bows and Hill Country are synonymous.
