How do you mount those harpoons? Vertical or Horizontal. I know it shouldn't matter but what do you guys prefer?  Thanks.   BILL

I have some Tree Sharks and Tiger Sharks, and I definitely like them mounted vertically. I have some screw ins and Dave the owner of Simmons gave me a good idea on how to index them. I have a little tool that trues up carbons and aluminum arrows, you take the aluminum side and shave off the insert until the head is the way you want it.

I mount them almost horizontal. I am right handed and with the arrow nocked the blades are at about 8 and 2 o'clock so when I draw and cant the bow they are horizontal.

2 to 3  o'clock so I see no blades in my sight picture   I shoot with a canted bow.

I just mounted mine last night and i found 2-3 o'clock was the best position for me.  I shoot canted.

Mine shoot best when they are horizontal.LCH

I mount mine horizontal..I don't cant bow and like to see my broadhead and where I want it to hit at the same time.

Depends on my mood really...
Just not straight vertical. Anything else works just fine for me.
I have recently taking to setting them at a 45 degree angle so the high side is hidden by the back of the bow. At full draw the back of the broad head should just brush my knuckle and away the arrow goes.
