tradtusker

please could some of the Schafer silvertip owners help me out here, im wanting to order a few new strings for my bows and for some for my friends bows

question is, what string length should i order for a 64" (fast-flight) longbow silvertip?

and for a 60" (dacron) t/d silvertip recurve?

i realise its better to measure the strings on the bow but i do not have these two available to measure as my friend is away.

i have a 62" silverip recurve and the string length is 57 1/2"(strung) at it 7 3/4" brace height. so would the 60" bow also require a 4 1/2" shorter than the bows lenght string?

sorry bit confusing any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Andy,

The 60" Dacron Tip recurve will take a 55" string, that is what Beth told me.

Cannot help you on the longbow. email Beth.
