As the title says, please show me your arrows with real turkey feathers.I also would appreciate it if you told me, where you bought them and if you are satisfied with them. Do they really last longer???

Pics allowed....    :bigsmyl:

These are some I did a while back and they are lasting pretty good. The feathers are from Magnus.

Locally killed and some from Kansas easterns, magnus ground. They seem tougher to me. This is all I will shoot unless I run out before turkey season.

Magnus has excellent feathers and does a superb job cutting fletchings.  You can't go wrong with him in my opinion

Is that little bit of "fluff" (lol) at the end of the arrow act like a mini flu flu and stabilize the arrow?

sorry for semi-jacking the thread.

All these arrows look amazing.

I shot a doe with this arrow and turkey feathers. I killed the turkey not 200 yards from where i shot her

Those are fur tracers. Used to aid in seeing the arrow better.

All of these are either real turkey or goose feathers.  I prefer the natural fletching because I believe they do hold up longer and they also seem to repel moisture better than a commercially available fletching. All fletching (and the arrows) are by Magnus.

I got mine straight from the turkey and a buddy ground them for me. I try to have at least one in my quiver in case the weather gets wet, they hold up way better in the rain, haven't shot them enough to vouch for the durability thing, but this one was getting a little raggedy looking after bumping around in my quiver for a few months and still worked flawlessly:)

Turkey feathers can be procured from a lot of sources. Friends that hunt turkeys can save them for you or you can run ads in local papers to obtain them. Once you have them there are numerous tutorials here and elsewhere showing you how to process them into fletching.

The easiest way to get them is to buy them from Tradgang sponsors such as Magnus.

Check game laws in your state. Some states prohibit the trade or sale of wild turkey parts.
