I am possibly trading for one it is 66 inches long and 48@28. my question is for people who have owned one of these longbows is how does the grip feel. Do these bows have any dish in the handle. Also if they have any hand shock.

Thanks,

John

Since you are trading for the bow, why not have it sent for inspection and trial shooting? If you like the bow make the trade, if not send it back. You need to work out the specifics with the person you are going to trade with. I have one of Gary's early Moosejaw longbows and it has been a great bow and always shot well. If there was any hand shock I never noticed it. Gary makes a great bow.

I had one of Gary's carbon competitors. It was a great bow,one of the best r/d longbows I've shot,no handshock either.Probably should have kept it.
Gary said that the Icon was an even better shooter. He said he had an Icon and one of his older bows at a shoot and let alot of guys shoot them. Almost all prefered the Icon.If it's better than the one I had,I think you'll be very happy with it.

you should have it sent to me first I'll test it for you then i'll let you know how it is.  then i'll get it to you when I get around to it....
