I made a couple selfbows (and self arrows) as a thank you gift for a some friends and they wanted to hang them on the wall for display (one is ash backed with snake and has a beaver tail handle wrap and the other is hophornbeam backed with carp skin and has a matching arrow with carp skin cresting).

If possible, can you post a couple picts of some display ideas that I can share with my friends?

Thanks!!

I don't have one I've made but my father in law does alot of work with old barn boards, most well over 100years old.  He planes them and then puts a clear finish or some he will stain.  They have a real rustic look.  Then you could use antler tines as hooks to hold the bow and then a second set underneath to hold the arrows.  He's done some beautiful antler mounts for my wife and I with the old barn boards.  These are ones that have the rough edges from the log just being torn length wise once instead of uniforming them to standard widths.  I know there is name for it but I'm not a wood guy.
