I see that some are using smooth on as a glue isn't that for Taxiy forms how well does it work as a glue for laminating limbs and riser?

It's the gold standard for making bows.  I would say the majority of glass bow makers use Smooth On

Crooked Stic

EA-40 #1 for glass bows.

It's different stuff than the taxidermy smooth on.
Both are epoxy's but the stuff for taxidermy is a putty. I have used the putty to reshape a riser handle under a leather cover. Both are tops in my book.

I use TiteBond III for wood-wood lam gluing, and SmoothOn for wood-glass. Neither has ever failed. Neither do I use a heat box. Here in the SW the air is always dry. I just put the glue-up in a warm place, like on the hood of a black car on a sunny day, and leave it in the clamps for 3 days. Perfect.

reference to smooth-on and EA-40.....where is the cheapest place to buy them?  On the internet, it seems that buying smooth-on direct is cheaper than Binghams or 3 Rivers, but is there a better source?
