Well,
In another post I spoke of:
1. Falling out of my treestand(thank the lord I was strapped in)Just a little bruised up
2. Crashing my Jetta into a tree @ 10mph causing $5500 in damage
But #3 is the killer
3. Getting laid off due to the company being in financial turmoil. I was the 2nd to be let go. Some Production employees are on 32 hours. They eliminated my position as Process Engineer.

Well
Now, only better things can happen right?

Aunty

O man!!! looks like murphy is sitting on your shoulder mate.... Chin up it can only get better man your in my prayers.

Matty

Oh man, keep positive.
Sorry to hear the bad news.  Then again. Maybe it's just good news in disguise.  Better opportunity awaits!

Man I can relate, similar thing have happened to me. Just have faith and focus on all the positive things in life that you have been blessed with. You got your health, You can probably draw unemployment and you have more time to hunt.
I am sure you will find another job. Love hard and love life and your friends. It will work out.LCH

It seems like I heard many stories like this right after the election. Many companies were waiting for election results  to be looking ahead and brace theirself for what they think is to come.
I really am tired of worry, they cut us back for the last year then decided to give management back their 10% cut. I elected to stay with my emploree's and remain cut. I really hate to hear it for you and the Irish in me wants to fight back.    Tim in NC

Sorry to say, you won't be alone in the big CHANGE. I have 2 friends that have their own company's that are going to shut their doors and lay off their employees due to Obama Care. This is only the beginning!!

If there ever was a "shoulda, coulda, woulda" in your career path now may be the time. Make a plan and go for it.
Best of luck to you.
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight;nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety;is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

My family lost our two family businesses in the last six months that were around for over 50 years. But my family keeps moving on with other jobs so hang in there. But it does look like the next four will be worse than the first....my prayers go out.

How many stories do we hear about a guy getting laid off or released from a good job only to find out it was the best thing to happen because ..... this may well be the beginning of your success story.
