Maybe its just me, but i seem to sit longer and with less motion if im not continually trying to stay comfortable while holding and readjusting my bow, so with this in mind i made these.
This is far from a new concept, but by using these, ill sit quieter longer, while having my bow at the ready at all times.   [/IMG]

DEATHMASTER

Good idea!

I carry a small screw in hook and hang my bow on the side of a nearby tree. The angle of dangle keeps the arrow on the shelf too.

I figured 20 minutes in the garage, might be a fair trade for many added hrs of sitting quiet.
I love the ground game and anything that i can use to my advantage just ups my odds.   :goldtooth:

Great idea, looks like it will serve the purpose.

Thanks guys! Finding forked limbs to serve the same purpose was near impossible, so a couple of 1x2 furring strips and 20 minutes time worked out great.
Just thought id pass the idea along to the other ground hunters out there.

DWilhelm

Deathmaster, was it Fred Bear that used a similar idea?

Great idea to a common problem moleman.

Yeah... I remember the pic of Fred Bear using forked sticks for the same purpose.

Good idea.  I too struggle with holding the bow for long periods of time.

Nice fletching color also.  I always though blue was the easiest for me to see  but for some reason stopped useing the color.

Thought id post a pic of these easy to make sticks.
I used 1x2 furring, 3/4" paddle bit, circular saw, and a belt sander. Total time, 20 minutes.   [/IMG]

You can use those for self defense against vampires too.
