What is your favorite harness?  I have a HSS vest that is nice but a bit heavy and cumbersome to hike in.  I end up wearing my safety belt way more because its so light and easy, but would feel safer in a nice harness.

I have a gorrilla harness that I bought at wal mart for 50 bucks. It's similar to a HSS vest but is half the weight. I like it so far.

I'm a HSS man. But will be interested to see what this thread turns up.

I switched over from summits seat of the pants to muddy outdoors last year. I like both of them. I like the leg adjustments on the muddy outdoors a little better though.

I like the HSS vest because of the ease of putting it on or taking it off. It is heavier than some, especially since I usually have stuff in the pockets, but I don't have any issues with walking in it. It's comfortable and I feel safe in it. I wish the lineman's loops were a little farther forward and the zipper stuck and won't open on one pocket. Thankfully it is empty. Otherwise I can't complain.

My son has a Gorilla, I think. It is certainly light, but I don't want to have to go through the gyrations he does to put it on. I also like that the HSS clicks, so I know the buckles are locked.

Whichever one you prefer, WEAR IT! Left in the truck, none of them are worth a hoot!

I have a HSS vest.  Nice to get on and off quickly but lately I've been putting on the plain old harnesses that come included with the stands.  Nice and light and I wear it under my outer layer.

I bought a spider harness for 100. A few weeks ago. It's very lite and easy to put on. They also sell the part that let's you down if you fall.

I like the HSS Ultralite. Easy to get on and off and I do not notice it when in the stand.

Ill be in trees for the first time next year and am looking at the Spider harness with there decent system, ill be doing a lot of public land with a climber (x stand) so want to stay light and safe.

I have not used these yet but doing a lot of research and leaning this way.
