The veneers on my PL are spalted sycamore.  The nose, on the back side, is cocobolo; it is a slight variation from the norm, with no red.

Here's mine.  Black Widow PLX, Cross grain greybark, 64" 50# @ 28" Take Down. It is a very good bow. Just joined and found this thread... sorry for the very late reply.

They are fantastic bows! I've yet to see a combination of wood that I didn't like.

That's a sharp-looking bow!  I like the look of the leather grip, too.  The whole bow has a unique look to it.

Thanks Archie! I love how it seems to blend in to most backgrounds.  Hopefully it put its first deer in the freezer this fall!

P.S.  The spalted sycamore in your PLX is very unique! I don't think I've ever seen one like it, very cool!
