Yep my 12 year old son Justin got 100% on his bowhunter saftey course test today. The only person out of twenty or so that shot a trad bow. Not only did he shoot right along with the wheelies, he shot his osage self bow that Dean Marlow made him. Let me tell you that those people were more than a little surprised at the stick's performance. Today starts a new chapter in the relationship I have with my boy. He's been shooting his whole life, and hunted with me in the past, but now we bowhunt as equals. He understands respect for the game and the woods. He practices. He is respectful. I'm really proud of him and tell him so til it becomes annoying to him.     Two more weeks to go. Think I'll let him take opening day off from school!!!
