DIY leather grip (w/ pics)

I thought I would try my hand at putting a leather grip on my longbow. Most of my home projects start out with me not having what I need and making it work somehow. This is no different. This is what you can do with one large non-leather type needle, rubber cement borrowed from a wader patch kit, some upholstery leather seconds from work and heavy nylon thread.









I also put on a small antler button from last years buck for some added mojo.
