Thanks Felix,

I have always liked Dale's bows and have been waiting to find the right one to place back in my rack, was offered this one and could not pass it up. 62",rosewood/bacote riser with the medicine points and medicine wood limbs, ff,53#@28". AD Hammerhead lites fly perfect out of it.

It was mentioned earlier that Dale "retired somewhere around 2005. "  Not that it is overly important, but he has been retired over 25 years from his peace officer days.

I have a very special Dye bow in the works that will be done in the fall of this year.  One of these days I will have to take some pics of mine.

Ron Roehrick

Dale is a really great man that's an artist and master bowyer, I have owned one of his Medicine points since 2006. Its 58" with chechen riser with black and yellow points with an accent strip of snakewood, also checkered grip and antler tips. Its smooth as silk and plenty quick. Its the only recurve I own now that I switched to Hill style longbows but his recurves are as good as it gets for function and beauty IMHO. Also You wont find a nicer more humble man than Dale he is the real deal.

DWT

Does anyone have his contact info so a fella might get in line?

This is a great thread, love seeing those Dye recurves.  Definitely a master of the craft.

Post 'em up, it seems there's been a few photos promised that haven't shown up...    :readit: ...   :jumper:

Dirtybird

I'm waiting on a new special one from Mr. Dye that should be here any day.  I was hoping for today but it didn't show.

The Night Stalker

I have seen two of my old bows both with my name on them. Both medicine points owned now by limbow and Kurt in Memphis. Great bows.   Tim in NC

Should have pics of a rare Dye bow tomorrow.

Any more?  Kevin?  These bows are beautiful.  I just have a hard time with that long riser.  I like short risers 17" and under.  My special Tip on order is a 15".
