On occasion I have seen Dale Dye bows show up here on Trad Gang (One listed as we speak).  I always hear great things about them and have even thought seriously about ordering one.  I know he does not have a website (I have checked), and so I can not look at pictures to get an idea of his workmanship.  Was wondering if a number of you would be willing to post pictures of your Dale Dye bows.  Sorry I have nothing to show (at this time!).

If you do a search on here you will find plenty of pics that show his masterful craftsmanship.

Mine is a 60" bow, 56#@28".  Cocobolo riser with a snakewood stripe, snakewood tip overlays.  Not sure of the limb veneers but they look like stained elm.  A nice find from the classifieds.

Those are some beautiful bows.  Anyone else?

I have never shot one but I have seen a few.....they were all just beautiful!!

Do your self a favor if you get the chance shoot one, do it(unless you don't want to buy one, because if you shoot a DD you will want to get one) I can't believe how smooth and quite my DD is.  It is the same weight of by Blacktail and other bows but the smoothest by far. my Blacktail is faster at the same wait and shoots great, but the DD is quiter and smoother

Felix, what are woods that are in your two Dale Dyes?  The combinations are extremely nice!  Thanks!

Thanks Felix.  I spoke with dale this morning and he is sending a brochure.  Appreciate everyone's sharing pictures and thoughts on this topic.  If there are more, keep it coming!
