Spent thurs and fri at Denton Hills with my dad and youngest son, had a great time even with the weather and no power in the hotel. We were so excited to pick up the bows i had ordered back in jan.and all i can say is wow a couple of beauties, mine is a 59" recurve 45#@28 with a cocobolo riser and osage limbs under clear glass and it shoots as quiet as my longbow.My son's bow is his first and is for his 16th birthday it is a 60" slammer special 35#@28 with a cocobolo riser with diamondback skins and a curly maple belly it is so fun to shoot, he was so happy to get it.Thank you Leon we are really pleased with our new bows.

Horseshoe, You made a great choice in doing business with Leon. I love shooting my Slammer Special. Must be a HUGE thrill for a Dad to pick up a new bow, while your son also picks up his for his 16th. Nice pictures!

I cannot pick which bow i like better!
I love the butterscotch color of your Osage limbs, but that Slammer is SO cool!

Can't go wrong with one (or more) of Leon's bows.
Killdeer   :thumbsup:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I purchased the sister to Horseshoe's recurve (cocobolo riser w/ Osage limbs, 45@28") early Friday morning after taking a few shots at the dealer targets. Had to make a quick decision when I walked back from the dealer targets there was another possible buyer wanting to shot/buy the bow. It was an easy decision the bow is queit, good looking and chucks an arrow w/ authority.

Longbow917

Very cool bows, he is one lucky young man....I had to wait til my thirties before I got anything close to that:)

Love the look of Osage. Nice bows..the Osage should darken over the years and takes on a nice, rich amber color. Good luck with the bows.
