The Downpayment

Turned fifty today. Came home to a package from Black Widow Bows. It contained Mike Mitten's book, "One with the Wilderness: Passions of a Solo Bowhunter" and a Black Widow gift certificate. Not enough for a bow, but a decent downpayment! Yea . . . I'm lovin' my wife right now....

Happy 50th! Yes, you are indeed a fortunate man to have a wife who supports your hobby.

I, too, just turned 50 the end of May. My beautiful bride of nearly 20 years told me to go out and buy the bow that I wanted - her treat. That is how my Thunderchild TD by Big Jim came into my life
