I'm really wanting To get the rinehart boar but dang it's expensive!  Is it worth it over other brands and any ideas on how to find it cheaper?

IMHO every Rhinehart is worth the price they outlast other targets and have the easiest arrow removal of any target that I have ever used.  Plus they look great... unfortunately no idea on how to get them cheaper other than looking for a used one from a local 3D shoot; sometimes they will sell the targets at the end of the season.  Most times they are shot up pretty good but you can buy them and get replacement vitals if money is your biggest concern.

It was newer here-

We are on our third insert now and it is still going strong. We shoot broadheads and field points regularly. Next year I may buy a new one.

Plumber

they are worth every cent, but I wish they were a little cheaper.you just wont find a better target
It is best to put out the money an get something that is truly going last.

mountain lion

you get what you pay for, they are the best targets ive ever seen. easy to pull arrows out of, and look great. my buddy has had one outside for 4 years and the back is a little faded but thats all. great targets!!!

I've had one for 3 years.  I practice with broadheads.  I'm almost to the point of having to flip it around to the opposite side.   I'm extremely impressed with it, and will buy another someday.

I would buy a Rinehart blem deer from Big Jim. Cut the legs down and paint it black.  ;)

Great target, long lasting, but what sells me is the easy arrow removal.  Best target for the money IMO!!!

Our club (Bearstate Archers) has a bighorn sheep on the range. it was on our old range in 2003 when a fire destroyed everything but it and a couple of other targets. We moved that target up our new range. We shot him up pretty good, his horns were stolen, he is bent over but he was still stopping arrows. We left him there when we moved the targets around last year. We have gotten more than our monies worth out of him. Rineharts are the only targets we buy.

Zane, if you find a cheap one let me know. They are great, and I'm in the market for o e as well. I bought a $100 foam target last year which was on sale for $60. It is in 3 pieces now.....3 pieces of junk.

Plumber

those rineheart balls are affordable an they are nice.

T Lail

do a search for R and W targets out of NC......great targets at an affordable price.....hold up very well and won't break the bank.....

worth every penny. they are expensive, but i have the feeding buck, and i've shot it for years with field points, broadheads, and my neighbor wore it out today with a crossbow. no worse for the wear. i'm convinced if you don't leave them in direct sun for too long that they will last almost indefinitely, especially if you shoot it with mostly field points. i had one shot today that went through the leg and straight into the rebar post, pushed the insert into the arrow and smashed about 1/2" of the carbon arrow. pulled the arrow out and the hole closed up so tight i couldn't even find it a few minutes later.

I can get them as blems from time to time. Not a huge savings, but every little bit helps.

The R & W targets are afordable, but not nearly as easy to pull the arrows out. That and nothing last like a rinehart.

Love my "Rhino" but I do not use it for everyday shooting. Got a cheap bag target for multi arrow practice. Break my Rhino deer out just before and during  hunting season for fine tuning. Usually shoot one arrow and retrieve. Saves $$$ and improves concentration for sure.

BWD

If you buy one, go ahead and get a replacement insert soon, before they change models and quit making the insert. Found that to happen, a time or two, on targets that last "too" long.
