Recently Greg Campbell of  www.swamphunts.com  became a new sponsor of Tradgang. I've known Greg casually thru the Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia for quite a few years, but i never had the opportunity to get to hunt with him until recently.  His operation is only about 20 minutes from me, but until just recently i had plenty of hogs to hunt on my own place.  For whatever reason, the hogs on the place i hunt (and for a couple of miles up and down the creek) disappeared. i love to hunt hogs, so i decided to give Greg a call a couple of months ago. i've hunted Greg's property 4 weekends now over the last couple of months, and i've had a blast! i decided it was time to share some of my adventure.
Greg offers you the opportunity to hunt on your own if you are confident in your ability or he will take you out and guide you.  My advice if you are a novice hog hunter, let him take you out for at least a day.  It will shorten your learning curve greatly!  i've been into hogs everytime i've gone out.  We call them "encounters".  i've killed three-missed a couple-and had several almosts!
As an added bonus, Greg took me bowfishing with his son and another friend Friday night.  It was a first for me, and i had a blast.  i didn't get any pictures of the bowfishing adventure cause i was too busy shooting!  Greg can offer you a bowfishing/hoghunting adventure if you want.  PM me with any questions you might have.
Thanks for looking!

Hey Chuck! That's a little football in the grass..maybe 8 to 10 lbs.   The snake is a timber rattler. Some people call them "canebrakes".  There aren't a whole lot of snakes where there are hogs cause they eat them. For whatever reason, we never see small rattlesnakes here. But we don't see any very often. Luckily I stepped near his tail and not his head!

Well done hunter! Nice job on the pig. Thanks for the pix. You;re right about few snakes in hog country. See how this plays out in a few years with the rodents.

Thank you Randy,
It sure looks like a good time was had, I bet that won't be your last bowfishing trip, that can get pretty addictive.

Looks like the place has a lot to offer.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Hey Michael!  Greg's place does have a lot to offer.  Greg offers bowfishing trips, hog hunting, turkey hunting, deer hunting, coastal hog hunts (in the winter time) and any combination of the above when they are in season. i'm hooked already!
