Trying to decide a color combo for some upcoming 3D's. Would like to see some pictures of your 3D Arrows.

White wrap 4 fletch either all pink or pink with blue barred. here is a cool looking pic of a bad shot with my fletching set up at Denton last year

I personally can follow white better than any other color. I've not shot any 3Ds, but just shooting in the yard, range, wherever I see white the best.

White wrap and 3 low back banana cut wild turkey feathers. Same as I hunt with. Also white nocks.

I like white/purple. The white parts help you to follow the arrow in the flight. The wite also enables you to see if you hitted the target on bigger distances.

The white/purple combination helps you to find your arrow easily back, when you missed a shot.
And they look pretty ofcourse  :)

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

I still like the set up I use for hunting.  Chartruese everything with a strip of reflective wrap ahead of my nock.  Problem is I sometimes shoot with some very accomplished wheel shooters, and if I'm first in the next rotation, and I make a good shot in the 11 ring they all start drooling!

All three of these work good for me  :)

Personally, I like yellow. It seems to stand out much better.

White for me also. White wrap, 3 white 5" shield cut feathers, white nock. White is the color that catches my eye the best and on the uhhh, shall we say, RARE occasions I'm kicking the leaves, It shows up well in our summer woods.

I tend to get specific color fletch and crown combinations for each bow I shoot. Helps me keep straight the spine weight as I have bows in a wide assortment of poundages. I do 3D with the same setup I hunt with, but generally I see white and yellow best of all. My go to bows (2  65# Howard Hill Wesley Specials) for both hunting and target are set up with this combination.

I can see this in any condition that I shoot, hunting or target.

I prefer the darker colors so others are not drawn to my arrows    :bigsmyl:   Ive had too many arrows broken or nocked from placing a good shot then everyone else zeroing in on my arrow.

Don't matter much to me for 3-D, something bright. For hunting I think Orange or Pink with a bright wrap or cap dip. Not to hard to know where you hit on foam, just walk up, on a live animal...now it's real important!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
