I have a Kanati Pro strap on quiver, which I am happy with. I was going to order another one, but I'm wondering about the EFA strap on. Mainly because they are advertised as being much lighter.
If you have had both, what is your opinion of them, and your preference.
Thanks Dan

Really like the Kanati!

The EFA is very light. While I don't like bow quivers, it is the ONLY one I own. If conditions and/or circumstances dictate that I use a bow quiver, my choice is the EFA.

I have both and like the EFA better as for as being more secure to the bow...rock solid when strapped on.

I love my EFA Cherokee Chief...rock solid, no noise and light as the feathers.......can't go wrong with EFA....

I have both and I like both and I'm keeping both and both are made by two men who both shoot traditional..Can't go wrong with both...So my answer to your question is............     :biglaugh:   .

I like the EFA but have not owned one of John's quivers I know they are well made.LCH

I've had both, still have the EFA, dont even know its on the bow. Kanati is definately heavier.

Might not matter much on a hefty bow, but you can tell a big differance on lighter weight bow.

Ran up an old thread for recent thoughts. Just a some help. Lots of cool quivers out there. Good luck.

I have both.I love the EFA's.They are the best bow quiver i've used.

I have both and you won't find two finer companies to deal with.

I own one strap-on Kanati and four EFA's quivers(strap-on and bolt-on). I must say, I prefer the EFA's because I can't even tell they're on the bow. But the Kanati is a fine crafted quiver.

I agree with several of you who have both quivers. Our quiver is generally of a lighter weight design so as not to weigh down a lighter bow. Some will shoot heavier recurves and a heavier quiver works well also.

I like to think of the competition between Ben Pearson and Fred Bear. They both made great bows and helped to build our traditional sport. I believe that in the future you will continue to see new and better products from several of us. In fact we have been working on a couple of products that are just about ready to show. That's exciting!

2 great quivers, great quality. Right now John's Slim Jim Angle Pro has the edge for me. Really like the profile and the design for 2 blade heads.

I have both.  Both made well. But if you are looking for something more lightweight but still made well...EFA is perfect.  Ideal for my shrew.  Good luck.

Ive owned 3 different kanatis and 3 different EFAs. Sold the Kanatis and kept the EFAs.The efa makes alot less impact on the limb recoil in the strap on version due to the lighter weight. I like the griping material better in the efa talon system also.

John, Thanks for pulling up the thread. This decision making business, is not easy,as I am happy with the one I have. But you have to look around. You never know.
