If you're talking about the spring fling up at Tannehill it look like everyone was having a good time and it's great to have an event this size in your back yard......stabow

That's the one. I belive it is the first Compton satellite/collaboration event outside of their annual rendevous in Michigan. Hoping for success and great results for the vendors, shooters, and organizations involved.

Can anyone estimate the crowd size? I was supposed to be there, but My mom and dad decided to move this weekend    :help:      "[dntthnk]"   and needed help.  Maybe next year...

I just got back from there and I thought is was a great event. Its great to talk to fellow tradgangers in person instead of just reading there treads. I do wish I could have stayed for joebucks seminar though because if I plan to harvest a turkey later this spring I will need all the help I can get. IMHO, great event!

I spent the day there and will be spending a few hours more tomorrow before heading home. Have met lots of great folks, spent time talking with the Asbells, Byron Fergason, Steve Turay, Chuck Deshler and others. Picked up my new Northern Mist classic and got to spend the whole day shooting with my daughter.

Will post a full report with pics tomorrow night!

Cherokee Scout

I have been there both Friday and Saturday, going back tomorrow. I would guess maybe 500 people. Courses are set up very well, a ton of fun.

Great event, had a wonderful time. Lots of vendors, lots of activities for kids. Great courses and great seminars as well. I will definately attend again next year!

I tried out a 54" PCH that the Widow boys just happen to have they let me take it through one of the courses it was smooth as butter yes I ordered one. I also joined Compton while there. The part that I like best was meeting old friends that I haven't seen in years....stabow
