With deer season over I seem to have a little more time on my hands. I just looked at all 16 pages of this thread and it really inspires me to get down to the shop and starting some new projects. Such a collection of talented craftsmen.

Thanks John that was my 3rd or 4th attempt, really amazing how much easier it is with a good teacher.

Here's an Osage recurve I backed with sinew. I made it about 6 years ago-Adam looks 14 there. It is still shooting well. It finished up just over 50#.

Osage bow with a knot hole caused by a bullet.  The wood was low quality so the bow was overbuilt a little.
