Very cool story and pictures, thanks for sharing!  Good luck in January!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Good luck! I sure was exspecting to see a blood trail.

Good luck! I hope you get your bull in Jan. What a way that would be to start out the New Year!

Great photos and hunting story.

Wow! Tough terrain for a bow shot.
Can you carry one of those Montana cow elk decoys to hide behind while stalking? Or maybe your Christmas tree.    :)

Great story and pictures. This reminds me of an area of Idaho where I used to hunt mule deer. Lots of critters and not much cover. Best luck to you on the remainder of the hunt, some fine looking bulls to chase. Look forward to the finishing story and pictures     :campfire:

"The bow way or no way"....love it! Keep at them. That looks like some hard hunting without any cover. Put that snow camo on and do the belly crawl to a point of intercepting their movement.  It is sooo easy being an armchair quarterback! haha

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.
