I hunted mid-state Va around Kerr Dam Resevoir some years back and was amazed that we'd see bucks like that.. but was hard hunting...so much country...tons of oaks and feed and lots of cover in the paper company pine stands---- well... be sneaking along and bust out a covey of quail!

So much for being scent free!
