I haven't made a knife in about 3 years now but, here are a couple rejects I didn't feel comfortable selling or giving away.

The one on the left is my regular carry around, on the right is my utility knife I keep hanging from a hook in my garage work space.  They have both seen some pretty heavy use and abuse but keep on trucking, despite their flaws.

Thought I'd bump this thread again with a couple Bark River knives I picked up recently:

A Woodland Special (left) and a Mike Stewart Custom Hunter. Both are A-2 steel, with micarta scales and red liners. I'm really impressed with the quality of these knives. Looking forward to getting them bloody...

The blades are neat, but I'm drooling over alot of the of wood handles.  Very beautiful everyone.

They don't hold a flame to some these incredible blades I see here but they are my favorite hunting knives. I've had them for a long time.

The larger knife on the left is the one I'm currently carrying.  I made these two around Christmas time and actually used the larger one on a late season doe I shot.

Love this thread, Keith looks like your over your limit! Wait what I'm I saying, I think every trad hunter should have a selection like that to pick from.

Thanks Andy. I did a set of 6 similar ones for a family hunting group, but the wood wasn't nearly as fancy. That really got old by the time I finished the sixth one - all the same.

Shoot some Zippers and a Bear.

Danny Rowan

two of my Doug Campbell knives that seem to be on my belt most often. I have several made by him. I also have some of Karl Anderson's creations.

Here is one I got from Karl, I also have a couple of his hunters, the very first knife he made from his own damascus, and a couple of bowies.

I made this one, works well. Heat treated 416 stainless with moose antler scales. Holds an edge and is easy to maintain.
