Well, the awaited time is almost here. I leave for Texas in two days for my annual hunting pilgramage. I will be hunting whitetail, wild hogs, exoctics and turkeys in Decatur, Breckenridge and Freer. Bags are packed, arrows are already in Texas and two of my bows are well packed in my bag. Taking my Schafer Tip "Love Potion #9" and my newest Brackenbury Quest and I hope to blood them both on my adventure. I will be in the field mostly so may not be able to tell the story until I return to Guam on 3 Dec so wish me well. I am so ready for this hunt, it has rained almost every day here on Guam since May and I am sick of the grey rainfilled days. Hopefully better weather awaits me. I will make it a point to take lots of pictures.

Good luck and have fun!!! Looking forward to the stories and the pictures!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
