Let's see what everyone's hitting woods with this year. I will start....60" Wapiti, 51@28, 2213's with 165gr Land Sharks.

This is what my son and I have been shooting for years.........



ACS CX 64" and 50#.
This year we added Abowyer Brown Bears to our usual woodies, and both of our Elk died very quickly.

I killed a bear with this bow in June so I guess I will try for deer and hogs before years end.
Bob Lee short riser 60" 50@28" longbow limbs.Riser is now painted a dark brn.

After parting with her, I'll be going retro for the first time, sharing time between a 67 KH - 45#@28, 70 KH - 43#@28 and 64 Grizzly - 50#@28, all with POC shafts and bear razorheads

Same old, same old for me. Sarrels Blueridge takedown longbow. 50#@29 1/2". Gold Tip 55/75 XT hunter arrows with 100gr brass inserts and 150gr German Kinetic Silverflame XL broadheads.



I will also be hunting with a bow called "Hope" in December and am looking forward to that! Hope is the bottom one in the pic:

Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.
