Dis some scouting today in the rain. Found the first two rubs ive seen this year. There nothing special, about the size of my thumb but rubs none the less. The both were on a trail ive been watching sense there was snow when i found his tracks. My Dad saw this buck about 50 yds from the one rubs location a month ago. He didnt get a good look but said he was a very respectable mountain buck. My broadheads are sharp bows tuned, come on october.

We have lots of corn here and the buck sightings and sign has been slow going so far, but it won't be long now. Good luck finding him in a few weeks!

Nice!
Bucks are still in velvet here. Hurricane blew the woods to heck. Tried a bit of scouting myself but downed trees, 88 degrees, high humidity and mosquitos dampered our efforts a bit. I'm with ya though, bow is ready!
